Q: How do I create account?
If you do not set up an account during your checkout process, you can create one by clicking “Log In” at the top of our website. Below the login fields and next to the “Sign In” button is a link to “Create Account.” Click this link
Q: How do we ensure the security of your information?
NWCY is committed to maintaining the security and privacy of your personal information.
As such, we do not maintain your credit card information. Instead, your personal payment information is held by an entrusted third-party, Shopify. Find out more here.
As a safety precaution, before making purchases online, be sure the URL contains “https” and not “http”. Additionally, there should be a padlock or key in the URL window to confirm there is a secure connection for transferring information.
Q: How do I place an order?
1. Search our collections and add products you like to your cart.
2. Once you’re finished shopping, click the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the webpage.
3. Review the items in your cart. If everything looks good, click “Check Out”.
4. On the following page, complete your contact information and add your shipping address.
5. Click “Continue to Shipping Method”.
6. Choose your preferred method of shipping.
7. Click “Continue to Payment Method”.
8. Ensure your order summary and contact and shipping information are accurate. Make any changes as necessary.
9. Enter discount codes, if you have any.
10. Enter your payment information.
11. Choose the appropriate billing address. If the billing address is not the same as your shipping address, enter your billing address.
12. Click “Remember Me” to save your information for future purchases (optional).
13. Click “Complete Order”
Q: How do I use a promotional code?
Promotional codes are case sensitive.
After choosing a shipment method for the products you plan to purchase, select “Continue to Payment Method.” On the next page, right below your contact information, you’ll see a section entitled “Discount.” In the field below, type in your discount code and click apply. If your discount code works, you will see the purchase amount in your order summary above your contact information decrease by the appropriate amount.
Q: Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes, we guarantee your satisfaction with all kneadpeace™ products. If kneadpeace™ does not help you reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace, then simply contact us within thirty (30) calendar days from the purchase date, and we will make things right by refunding your purchase price, exchanging items, or crediting your account against the purchase of another item. Please note that we only refund the purchase price of the products and cannot refund your shipping charges (unless the product arrived damaged through no fault of any other parties). If you purchased an item with a discount, we will only refund the discounted purchase price.
In the unlikely event that you would be less than satisfied with your kneadpeace™ and decide to request a refund, you may keep the kneadpeace™ and any other accompanying items that may have come with your order as our gift to you.
Q: Can I have a sample?
Unfortunately, we do not offer samples at this time. We understand that preferences vary and something that may smell wonderful to one person may not smell so great to another person. For these situations, we stand by our satisfaction guarantee. We regularly test our aromatherapy blends and modeling dough to ensure the quality of our products remain high. If you believe the product you have received does not meet our promise standards, you may call us on our guarantee of satisfaction.
Q: How do I know if kneadpeace™ is for me?
kneadpeace™ products were created for hard-working employees who desire to improve the quality of life in the workplace. Some kneadpeace™ blends have a stronger aroma (such as Fresh Mountain Air Blend) than others, and as a result, some may find milder aromas, such as certain floral and woodsy aromas, more appropriate for tight office spaces.
Since kneadpeace™ is a preserved modeling dough, it has the consistency and texture similar to dough you may make at home for a sturdy bread. As a result, some of the ingredients, such as wheat, coconut oil, olive oil, and other starches, may leave a residue on the hands. This residue can be easily washed off with plain soap and water, or the little towelettes we pack in each shipment. Additionally, the essential oils used in the kneadpeace™ may leave a wonderful scent on your hands. This, too, can be washed off with soap and water when you're ready. If you’re comfortable testing your dexterity and relieving stress with aromatic modeling dough, kneadpeace™ is for you.

Q: How long does kneadpeace™ last?
The lifespan of each kneadpeace™ varies according to the level of usage and care. We have found that when properly stored in its jar and kept out of direct sunlight, a regularly-used kneadpeace™ can last at least six (6) months.
Simply leaving your kneadpeace™ aromatherapy dough out for an hour can dry it out. When you're not using it, please be sure to protect your kneadpeace™ in its high-quality, heat-treated, and reusable glass mason jar.
Q: Who should not use kneadpeace?
Babies for sure.
If you are pregnant or nursing, you should consult with your doctor prior to handling products with essential oils, such as kneadpeace™. Additionally, essential oils have been known to irritate sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, you may also want to check with your doctor prior to handling kneadpeace™. We do not recommend children who are 5 year old or under play with kneadpeace™, since small pieces may break off and become choking hazards. Children over the age of five should use the kneadpeace™ with adult supervision.
Q: Are there any ingredients derived from animals?
No ingredients are derived from any animals. kneadpeace™ is nontoxic and 100% biodegradable.
Q: Is kneadpeace™ safe for pets?
Due to its high sodium content and essential oil blends, kneadpeace™ is not safe for pets. Please do not keep kneadpeace™ in an area accessible by any pets. When you’re not using your kneadpeace™, we recommend keeping it tightly sealed in its glass mason jar.
Q: How do I get my kneadpeace™ out of its jar?
First, thank you for your kneadpeace™ purchase! Before you can use it, we have to get it out of the jar. We've put together a short little slideshow with instructions on how to use your kneadpeace™ scoop to remove your kneadpeace™ from its jar.

Q: Is kneadpeace regulated by the FDA?
FDA regulates all ordinary foods, beverages, dietary supplements, and cosmetics through its authority under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. kneadpeace™ is promoted as an aromatic modeling dough. As a product that can be used for art-related purposes, does conform to certain ASTM standards. Specifically, kneadpeace™ conforms to ASTM D-4236, which means all potentially hazardous components of the art product have been clearly labeled on the product packaging.
Most important, the product fully complies with the detailed safety and labeling requirements of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the FDA’s implementing regulations.
Q: Is kneadpeace gluten free, vegan, wheat free, lactose free, dairy free?
Currently, kneadpeace™ does not make gluten-free aromatherapy dough. kneadpeace™ is soy and dairy free. We use coconut oil, olive oil, vegetable glycerin (derived from palm oil), and essential oils. Although we thoroughly clean our equipment, our essential oil blends are made in the same facility. Some people have sensitivity to peppermints, lemon, and other essential oils. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend not using kneadpeace™ at this time, since we do not currently offer an unscented version.
Coconut is generally classified as a fruit, but the FDA has classified coconuts as a tree nut. There are some cases of allergic reactions to coconut, but most people who have tree nut allergies do not have a coconut allergy. Nevertheless, if you have a tree nut allergy, we recommend you speak to your doctor before handling a product with coconut.
Q: What’s this residue on my hands?
Like most dough, the kneadpeace™ ingredients may leave a slight residue on your hands after playing with it. This residue is primarily due to a combination of oils (coconut, olive, and essential oils) and certain natural starches from certain grains we use to make the dough. We encourage you to wash your hand before and after handling your kneadpeace™.
Q: Can I eat kneadpeace™?
Please do not eat your kneadpeace™. Although we use food grade ingredients, such as coconut oils, grains, salt, etc.), kneadpeace™ is manufactured and stored in a facility that is not considered “food-safe” by FDA standards. Additionally, due to the manufacturing process of kneadpeace™ and the purpose of kneadpeace™, we are not required to follow general food-safe procedures, such as those promulgated by ServSafe®.
Q: Why is there a wooden spoon with my order?
We add a 100% birch, compostable scoop to every order to make removing the kneadpeace™ aromatherapy dough from its jar super easy. Check out the slide show here to see how to use it.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary according to the products you’re purchasing and time frame in which you would like to receive your products. You can determine your individual shipping cost by previewing it in your shopping cart. The total will be calculated according to your purchase.
Q: When will my order ship?
Most orders that are placed for products that are in-stock prior to 4:00 PM Eastern Time (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays) are shipped out on the same day. Products that are not in stock will be noted in their product description. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time (Monday – Friday), during the weekend, or on holiday will be shipped on the next business day.
Q: How will my order ship?
We make every effort to ensure sure your kneadpeace™ arrives in perfect condition. We balance this goal with our commitment to sustainability. The shipping carton and packaging tape are both recyclable. The crinkle cut paper fill we use is derived from recyclable kraft paper and both biodegradable and compostable. All shipping cartons use approximately 30% recycled material. Your kneadpeace™ aromatherapy dough will be packed into a high-quality, reusable, and recyclable glass mason jar. For additional packaging protection, we place your kneadpeace™ into a burlap bag made from jute and is completely biodegradable.
Q: How do I cancel or change your order?
Please reach out to us as soon as you realize you need to change your order. If your order has not been processed and shipped, we will attempt to change or cancel your order. Once your order has been shipped, we will be unable to change or cancel your order. In this situation, you will have to turn to our return policy for any changes or cancellations.
Q: How do I know if my order has been processed or shipped?
Once your order has been processed, we will send you a notification via email to the address you provided at checkout. You may also log into your account to determine the status of any orders you have placed.
Q: What happens with backordered items?
As soon as backordered items become available, we ship them out to customers. If you would like to cancel a backordered item, you may do so by logging into your account and canceling or contacting customer service.
Q: How long will it take to receive my package?
As soon as your package is picked up by the shipping carrier or dropped off at the shipping carrier, the delivery time is entirely dependent upon the shipping carrier and the shipping method you chose at checkout. You can track your order by using the tracking number provided to you on the date of shipment. While shipping time frames are generally met, natural disasters and other events or acts that can impact transportation infrastructure may delay arrival date.
Q: Which shipping carriers do you use?
At this time, we use UPS and USPS. When you’re checking out, you’ll be able to select your preferred method of shipping.
Q: Can I change the shipping address after an order has been placed?
If you discover the shipping address is incorrect, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your customer order number in the subject line of your email. If the order hasn’t been shipped, we may be able to update the shipping information. If the order has shipped, we may be able to contact the carrier to update the address. If additional shipping charges are required, we will notify you in advance.
Q: Do we ship internationally?
At this time, we do not currently ship internationally.
Returns and Exchanges
Q: How do I return my kneadpeace?
If you change your mind on your kneadpeace™ purchase, you may return your purchase to us within thirty (30) calendar days from the purchase date for an exchange or refund. We do not refund the cost of shipping the product(s) back to us (including the cost of insurance, if you choose to insure the package), unless the product is defective. Refunds are available only for eligible purchases made on www.kneadingpeace.com. Items being returned must be unused, properly sealed in original packaging, and in a condition to be resold. In some cases, products, such as discontinued items, are not eligible for any refunds. These products will be marked on the website.
Please include a note in your package indicating your original order number, your reason(s) for returning the product(s), and whether you want an exchange or refund.

Q: What if an item is missing from my order?
First and foremost, if we’ve accidentally left out one of your items from your shipment, we’re sorry about the inconvenience and missing item. If the item is missing due to our mistake, we will replace it, credit your account, or refund the money to your payment method.
Q: What if I received the wrong item?
First and foremost, if we’ve accidentally sent you the wrong item, we’re sorry about the error and inconvenience. If we’ve sent you the wrong item, you may keep it as our gift to you for our mistake, and we will either send you the correct item, credit your account, or refund the money to your payment method.
Q: What if I receive a damaged item?
If the item has been damaged due to our processing, we will replace it or credit your account. We will send you instructions for returning the damaged goods at no cost to you. Once we receive the damage goods, we will send you a replacement or refund.
Q: Are shipping and handling charges refundable?
Unfortunately, we do not refund shipping and handling charges. In some cases, such as missing or incorrect items, we will cover the shipping costs for replacement items.
Q: When will my credit appear on my account?
Once we receive and review your return, we will process it and issue a credit to your payment method, if it has been returned unopen and in saleable condition. Please give us approximately two weeks to process your credit.
Q: How do I review a product?
We're grateful for all honest, constructive feedback. To share your story and review with us and prospective customers, complete the following steps:
1. Click "Products" in the top navigation menu.
2. Locate the products(s) you purchased.
3. Click on those products.
4. Scroll down to "Reviews" and click on it.
5. When the tab drops down, select "Write a review."
